The 2026 October School Holiday Workshops are now open! Each workshop costs $25 per child. All workshops take place in the hall at St Nicolas Anglican Church in Carine-Duncraig. See below for what's happening each workshop!
Friday 2nd October, 1-3pm
Workshop 1, Friday 2nd October, 1-3pm:
- Main Craft - Bead Weaving Wall Hanging: Children will create their own colourful woven artwork by threading beads onto a simple grid pattern using a design template for inspiration or inventing their own pattern.
- Paper Masks: Children will design and decorate their own colourful masks using paint, collage materials, feathers, stickers, and markers.
- Watercolour Flower Painting: Children will bring beautiful flower designs to life using vibrant watercolour paints.
- Fizzy Colour Science: Children will explore exciting chemical reactions by combining baking soda, vinegar, and colourful liquids.
- Wooden Block Construction: Children will use a variety of wooden blocks to design and build their own structures, towers, and imaginative creations.
- Potion Mixing Station: Children will combine colourful liquids, natural materials, glitter, and loose parts to create magical potions of their own invention.
- Free Art and Craft Table: An open-ended space for imagination. Children can choose from paper, markers, coloured pencils, pipe cleaners, and other materials to make whatever they dream up.
- Playdough Creation Station: Children will use soft, colourful playdough alongside a variety of tools, cutters, rollers, beads, natural materials, and loose parts to create their own imaginative designs.
- Colour Mixing Tray: Children will experiment with liquid paints and watercolours to discover how colours change and combine.
- Collaborative Painting Station: Children will work collaboratively to explore painting on bubble wrap, experimenting with colour, texture and mark-making to create a vibrant shared artwork.

Friday 9th October, 1-3pm
Workshop 2, Friday 9th October, 1-3pm:
- Main Craft - Yarn Pictures: Children will use wool on contact paper to create an abstract artwork, or landscape design.
- Mosaic Art: Children will explore the vibrant world of mosaic art by arranging colourful paper tiles to create their own unique artwork inspired by bold patterns, shapes and colours.
- Spring Sensory tray: Children will experiment with pouring, scooping and mixing as they explore a colourful, spring-themed sensory tray filled with vibrant materials and open-ended play opportunities.
- LEGO Challenge Station: Children will use a wide variety of LEGO pieces to design, build, and create their own imaginative constructions.
- Free Art and Craft Table - An open-ended space for imagination. Children can choose from paper, markers, coloured pencils, pipe cleaners, and other materials to make whatever they dream up.
- Beaded Flowers: Children will thread beads onto pipe cleaners to create their own colourful flowers.
- Playdough Creation Station: Children will use soft, colourful playdough alongside a variety of tools, cutters, rollers, beads, natural materials, and loose parts to create their own imaginative designs.
- Bubble Tray: Children will make their own bubble wands and experiment with creating bubbles of different shapes and sizes.
- Learn to Draw Table: Children will use pencils and fine line markers to follow simple step-by-step instructions and learn to draw different pictures.
- Collaborative Painting Station: Children will experiment with painting on cling wrap, exploring how paint moves, mixes and responds on an unusual transparent surface.
