About Us
Hi!
My name is Nikki Landmark, and I am the coordinator of Creative Play Workshops in Perth. The aim of these workshops is to give children the opportunity to experiment and play with different art and craft materials in a safe, supportive and creative environment.

We are makers and artists, just like you! We are all teachers, pre-service teachers and WWCC holders. Send us a picture of your finished project and feedback on how the workshop went for you. Your work could feature in our online gallery.

Each Creative Play Workshop starts with a 10-minute warm up activity to get the creative juices flowing. Following this the children work on the main craft for 30 - 40 minutes. Next, the children spend 40 minutes exploring the Creative Play 'stations'. These stations are a mix of process-based and product-based activities that take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to complete. In this time, the children are free to explore the stations which interest them. In the last 30 minutes the children complete their main craft before packing assisting to pack up.
Each workshop runs out of the church hall at St Nicolas Anglican Church, in Duncraig. The address is Cnr Beach Road & Poynter Drive, Duncraig, 6023.
Each 2-hour workshop costs just $20 per child.
Absolutely! We recommend that if your child is anxious or below the age of 6 that you stay during the Creative Play Workshop.
A fantastic and passionate group of teachers! My name is Nikki and I am the facilitator of Creative Play Workshops in Perth. I am a recently qualified early childhood teacher with a passion for the arts. The Creative Play Workshop team includes university lecturers in education, registered teachers, and pre-service teachers, all with current Working With Children's Checks.
Children are requested to wear old clothes that can get dirty and to bring a labelled and full water bottle. Aprons will be supplied for the duration of the workshop.
